Abra Melin | Loose Incense
One of the most famous and revered blends in the history of ceremonial magic, Abra Melin incense has its roots in the ancient Book of Abramelin — a medieval grimoire of Jewish mysticism that became a cornerstone of Western occultism. It was adopted and immortalised by Aleister Crowley and the OTO, becoming an integral part of Thelemic ritual and ceremonial magic practice.
This blend has been made to the traditional recipe, honouring the history and intention behind one of the most significant incenses in the Western magical tradition. If you work within Thelema, OTO or ceremonial magic, you will know exactly what this is for. If you are newer to these traditions, this is a powerful and sacred blend used to create sacred space, invite divine contact and support the Great Work — the journey toward your True Will.
How to use: Burn on a small charcoal disc, smoulder slowly, use as an offering, carry with you, or simply place as potpourri in your sacred space. As with all incense, burn in a well ventilated area, never leave unattended and keep away from children, pets and flammable materials. Do not ingest.
What's inside:
- Frankincense — sacred space, divine contact and spiritual elevation
- Storax — ancient and deeply ceremonial, grounding and consecrating sacred work
- Cinnamon — fire, will, power and the burning force of True Will
- Sandalwood — purification, spiritual depth and consecration
Made to the traditional Abra Melin recipe.
