Dark Moon
No moon above, no path ahead, a night where witches dance with dread. But from the void comes something new; a self reborn, a spell turned true. So close your eyes and walk the dark, let soul and soil leave their mark. This is the time to die and rise, with dirt beneath and star filled skies.
The Ritual
Dark moon work is about descent before renewal — this is the phase for facing what's hidden, not avoiding it. Sit in a dark room, or step outside under a moonless sky. Name one thing you're ready to let die: a habit, a fear, a version of yourself you've outgrown. Then, in the same breath, name what you want to rise in its place. No candle needed tonight — let the dark do its work.
Correspondences for the Dark Moon
- Herb: mugwort or wormwood, for facing the unseen
- Stone: obsidian or jet, for protection while moving through the void
- Scent: myrrh or dragon's blood resin, grounding and transformative
- Color: black
