World Goddess Day: A Celebration of the Divine Feminine

On the first Sunday of September, witches, priestesses, and seekers around the world pause to honour the many faces of the Goddess. From the fierce protectress to the gentle mother, from the Lady of the Moon to the Keeper of the Cauldron, World Goddess Day is a time to gather in reverence and celebration of the Divine Feminine.

This year, I am thrilled to be taking part. To stand in circle with others who honour Her is something I deeply cherish. My path as a hedge witch, herbal ritualist, and priestess has always been about weaving connections — between people, plants, spirits, and the turning cycles of the moon and sun. World Goddess Day feels like a natural extension of that weaving, a chance to celebrate Her presence not just in solitude but as part of a wider current.

I imagine the air alive with incense and song, the steady beat of drums calling us into alignment. Faces of the Goddess will be invoked — Inanna, Brigid, Hekate, Artemis — each reminding us that She is many and one all at once. To be among kindred souls in such a moment will be a blessing, and I look forward to carrying that energy back into my work with Cat & Cauldron.

For me, this isn’t just an event — it’s a renewal. My offerings, whether ritual oils, herbs, or moonlit poems, are always created as living devotions. Being part of World Goddess Day will deepen that connection, reminding me why I do what I do: to help others find their own doorway to the Goddess, whether through scent, ritual, or words.

If you feel the call, I encourage you to mark the day in your own way. Light a candle, whisper a prayer, make an offering of flowers or herbs — however you honour Her, know that you are part of a larger chorus of voices rising together across the world.

I will share more after the day itself, but for now I hold the anticipation close, like a seed waiting to bloom. The Goddess is with us always — in the cycles of nature, in our own hearts, and in the communities we form when we gather to celebrate Her.

May She walk beside you always. Explore more of my work and offerings in my store
